Jack’s is right opposite Stockwell tube, and is happy to stock Cachaca Abelha Silver and Cachaca Abelha Gold. Interestingly, due to the big Portuguese/Brasilian community around that area, they actually stock a couple of other of brands cachaca too. Don’t get any ideas though!

Bars
Bar Story
213 Blenheim Grove, Peckham SE15 4QL
Funky bar in the arches underneath the Peckham Rye train station. Doubling as an art gallery the arch and corrugated iron give the bar a nuclear bunker feel. Excellent atmosphere inside and out -where there are fires in Winter, cocktails in Summer. Great food, great drinks and a variety of interesting nights to get your teeth into. Casa da Sogra
4 Ferdinand Street, Camden Town, NW1 8ER
Situated just opposite Stables Market and Morrison’s Casa Da Sogra is a definite stop during your visit to Camden markets.
Made in Brasil
Inverness Street, Camden, NW1 7HJ
Great little Brasilian eatery and cachacaria. I personally must have drunk over 50 caipirinhas here over last year. Go try one with Abelha Cachaca!

The Tabernacle Arts Centre, Studio, Bar and Venue
Powis Square, Ladborke Grove, W11 2AY
This community centre, which has long been a centre for art and culture, has re-opened as a bar, restaurant, music venue and recording studio. It’s an iconic, ex-chapel, beautifully re-furbished, which as already become a favourite for music industry nights and secret gigs.
Canecao
17 York Way, Kings Cross/Caledonia Road, N7
Stealth Brasilian pub - from the outside looks like a normal boozer, except a flag in the window. Lively on Friday and Saturday nights with a very Brasilian crowd doing what they do best. Just next to the Egg nightclub on York Way.
Montgomery Place
31 Kensington Park Street
American themed cocktail bar of world-wide repute. A very friendly knowledgeable staff prepare delicious drinks with a precision and attention to detail second to none.
The Hide Bar
39-45 Bermondsey Street, London, SE1 3XF
From Time Out 2009: Hide has a laid-back sense of bonhomie that makes it difficult to leave… staff know their stuff. The drinks list is outstanding: meticulously prepared cocktails, beers from the Meantime Brewery in Greenwich, international bottled beers and a seemingly endless list of wines and spirits.
Public House, Angel
54 Islington Park Street, N1 1PX
Excellent cocktail bar staff at this place who really know what they’re doing. Get them to make you a caipirinha with Abelha Cachaça, or let them suggest a good cachaça cocktail for you. You won’t be disappointed.

saf, Shoreditch
152-154 Curtain Road, Shoreditch, EC2A 3AT
Saf is a new top-flight cocktail bar/restaurant right in the heart of the hustle of Shoreditch. It also happens to be organic - as much as possible they use all organic ingredients in their cocktail list, which is well thought out, varied, and extremely well-crafted by world reknowed mixologist and pioneer of organic drinks, Joe Mccanta. All the bar staff are highly experienced and trained too.

Spreadeagle
3 Kingsland Road, Shoreditch, E2 8DA
This is a really nice cosy pub bar cafe to sit and unwind in. It’s much less pretentious than many of the other nearby drinking holes, and is good if you’re looking for somewhere that isn’t unbearably busy. As the owner and a few of the staff are Brasilian, they also know how to make a decent caipirinha!
Restaurants
The Hawksmoor
157 Commercial Street, E1 6BJ
The Hawksmoor serves just about the best steak in England, as confirmed by The Observer. They also have a phenomenally well stocked cocktail bar with an excellent menu that focusses mainly on twists on old classics with gin, bourbon and rum. Great place for a meal or cocktail.
Sushinho, Chelsea
312-314 Kings Road, Chelsea, SW3 5UH
Very cute name, Sushinho (su-SHEEn-yo) meaning little sushi, it’s a Japanese/Brasilian fusion bar and restaurant. Head bar honcho Paul Bradley is an expert mixologist who will do you a truly beautiful cocktail. Highly recommended.
Barraco, Kilburn
10 Kingsgate Place, Kilburn, NW6 4TA
Barraco is a seriously authentic Brasilian, family-run boteco, offering food, drinks and dancing. The place goes crazy on the weekends with a young Brasilian crowd.
Bankete, Shoreditch
3 Bell Lane, E1 7LA
Nearest tube Liverpool St (5 mins walk), Aldgate East (5 mins walk)
Bankete is a seriously authentic, no-frills Brasilian restaurant and lanchonete (snack bar). I’ve spent a lot of time in Brasil, and this place is it. If you are lucky, they will have Brasilian ‘news’ on the TV. I suggest you go there, order a rare steak, rice, beans and salad (called picanha contra filé) and a caipirinha. Then, as a digestif, ask for a shot of his best cachaca and sip down a shot of Abelha Cachaça Gold. You will feel very content.
Raizes, Bethnal Green
460 Hackney Road, E2 9EG
Raizes is a bustling little Brasilian restaurant at the East end of Hackney Road. They serve a range of good traditional Brasilian food for around £6 per main course - my favourite snack is the Coração de Galinha (chicken hearts). Get them to do you a shot of Abelha Cachaca Gold with a dot of honey in it, sip it and listen to the Portuguese chatter around you.
Comida, Mayfair
South Molton Street, W1Y 1HB
Brand new restaurant just near Bond Street tube, serving excellent Brasilian BBQ (churrasco) - as well as other Brasilian dishes. They have a range of cachaca’s and recommend Cachaca Abelha Gold as an after dinner sipping drink.
